I'm a musician, I'd really love to make a borb and use it on my album (as a kind of intro or something), shall it be considered commercial usage? The borb itself will be wholly my own.

Yep, as long as the content of the borb is your own, you can use Sound Borb however you like. If you'd like, I'd be happy to post the borb on the downloads page, and link to your website.
