hihi, love that word too Smile

for a start, playing around with "ocean" and try to add some more seagulls...

i wonder:

my (short) sounds labelled with random=true show up very infrequent. is it because some of the other files are quite long? (maybe that the random files are placed only once in the longest time randomly??)

tnx!

Snafu,

I wrote Tom about maybe adding another slider to control how frequently SoundBorb triggers the random samples. That would be rad because you could thereby increase the randomnimity.

Sincerely,
A

Well, currently, random sounds do happen pretty infrequently, and only one random sound will be played at a time. I made it this way on purpose because if short, random sounds happen too frequently, the overall effect begins to feel too repetitive because you keep hearing the same thing over and over again, and I wanted borbs to be listenable for long periods of time. I do like the idea of adding another slider for "randomnimity" though...and I'm considering some other ideas as well.

A random slider would be a great asset, but what would be great as well is random pitch, random pan etc.
